Westphalia Park
Toll Brothers and GB Development Group; Prince George's County, MD
In 2006 Alex Garvin & Associates devised a program and schematic plan for the development of an 88-acre park within a 757-acre property being developed in Upper Marlboro, Prince George’s County, Maryland. The design was formulated in response to ongoing consultations with a stakeholders group that included representatives from Pulte Homes, Toll Brothers, Del Webb, EDAW, HOK, and the Prince Georges County Department of Parks and Planning. The final park design included six main parts – Circulation System, Greensward, Lake and Wetlands, Waterfront Activity Area, Athletic Area, and Ramble – integrated into a single park.
